FrosschartVGC covers Pokémon Champions ruleset. Current regulation is M-C (Sep 9, 2026 – Dec 2, 2026). Because Champions regulations are additive, every Pokémon legal in M-A remains legal in M-B and M-C; each newer set introduces additional Pokémon and Mega Evolutions. The default view is always the current regulation; historic regs are one dropdown away.

We aggregate from public tournament VOD reports, Victory Road event coverage, Pokémon Champions ranked usage exports, and community-verified paste code submissions. Pokémon sprites are served via the PokeAPI GitHub CDN (Nintendo/Game Freak IP).

A weekly APScheduler job pulls Victory Road headlines and refreshes each Pokémon's 8-week usage_history with drift. Admins can also trigger an on-demand ingest from the Admin panel.

Tournament figures include Regional Championships, Special Events, International Championships, and the World Championships. Ranked figures pull from the top 1% Champions ranked ladder.

All speed values assume Level 50 with 31 IVs. Max = 252 EVs + boosting nature. Trick Room priority = 500 - Base Speed. Tailwind values simply double the final speed.

The integrated calculator is powered by @smogon/calc (Generation 9). It applies item and ability effects (Ruin abilities included), and full field conditions: Weather (Sun/Rain/Sand/Snow), Terrain (Electric/Grassy/Misty/Psychic), Reflect, Light Screen, Aurora Veil, and Critical Hit toggles. Regulation M-C excludes Terastallization, so Tera type multipliers are not applied.

Any missing or incorrect data can be corrected via the Admin / Import panel. All imports are upserts keyed by slug or id, and the ingest scheduler always merges new records without overwriting curated corrections.
